The New Balance 2002R Gore-Tex Tobacco is a version of the retro running shoe with a rugged, weatherproof design. The Tobacco 2002R features a Gore-Tex membrane underneath its brown mesh base. Contrasting Tobacco-colored suede overlays are found throughout the design. A grey leather N appears on both sides of the shoe and 2002R branding is found on the lateral side of the heel. Gore-Tex branding is located on the heel and on the branding tag on the collar. Underfoot, the cream foam midsole features New Balances N-ergy cushioning for a comfortable ride. TobaccoRadial impact dispersion system minimizes peak force concentrations.
