The Air Jordan 1 High OG GS Brotherhood is the youth sizing of the old school basketball shoe that salutes Michael Jordans Omega Psi Phi fraternity from his alma mater, the University of North Carolina. The Brotherhood offers a revealing look into Jordans personal life, this time drawing inspiration from the fraternity he was a member of while playing college basketball with the Tar Heels. The look of the shoe is inspired specifically by the Omicron Alpha chapter, an African-American fraternity founded in 1911 that has signature colors of purple and gold, both of which appear on this Jordan 1. Specifically, the perforated toe, collar, and heel feature University Gold leather while the toe cap, forefoot, eyelets, and laces are designed in Light Bordeaux. The Swoosh and collar also appear in Light Bordeaux, and a Wings logo in black is found on the collar. A two-tone, white midsole and yellow rubber outsole complete the look.
