The Air Jordan 13 GS Court Purple is the youth sizing of the January 2022 release of Michael Jordans thirteen signature shoe in a colorway dedicated to the team uniform colors of the Los Angeles Lakers. The Court Purple is yet another popular Jordan 13 that salutes the Lakersthe first being the aptly named Lakers makeup that was released in July 2019. Sans any official Lakers branding, the Court Purple nonetheless features the Lakers color palette on its design. The Court Purple mimics the color block of the Jordan 13s original Bred colorway by substituting the red accenting for purple along the heel and mudguard. The black mesh upper is treated to a reflective finish. A holographic emblem denoting Jordans Black Cat nickname, meant to resemble a panthers eye, can be found on the heel.
