The Nike Air Max 1 Hangul Day is a special colorway of the retro running shoe inspired by the invention of the Korean alphabet system. Originally released exclusively in Asia before receiving a global release soon thereafter, the Hangul Day Air Max 1 modifies the classic sneakers design with a minimalistic vibe with mismatched panels. Neutral beige hues are matched with pastel-colored tones across the shoes upper. A Jeweled Swoosh is found on both sides of the shoe. On the heel, a blue-tinted plastic heel cover protects the back of the shoe and features dual Nike Air and branding, which translates from Korean to Nike in English.
