The Nike Air Max Uptempo 95 Lakers is a replica of the player exclusive performance basketball design worn by former Lakers point guard Derek Fisher during the 2002 NBA season. The smooth shooting lefty was an invaluable member of the Lakers early 2000s dynasty as his calm leadership and knack for delivering in the clutch propelled the Lake Show to three NBA Championships during the early aughts. The Lakers colorway of the Air Max Uptempo features a white leather upper with bright yellow accenting on the mudguard and on the purple-outlined Swoosh hit on the mid-panel. Additional Swoosh branding appears in purple on the lateral panel. Customary white embroidered AIR is spelled out on the eyelets while purple Uptempo branding covers the heel.
