The Womens New Balance 550 Pink Sand is a womens-exclusive colorway of the retro basketball and lifestyle shoe with a two-tone, white-and-pink appearance. The New Balance 550 was brought back by Aim Leon Dore in 2020 when the New York based clothing companys founder and lead designer Teddy Santis discovered the shoe in New Balances archives. Here, the Pink Sand updates its vintage design with a white leather upper with Pink Sand-colored leather and suede overlays. A white N logo with pink trim appears on both sides of the shoe. Pink outline 550 branding is found on the forefoot. Additional branding includes an NB logo on the heel, and retro-inspired New Balance 550 USA detailing on the tongue. Underfoot, a chunky white rubber midsole is contrasted with a cream and pink outsole. Pink SandMultidirectional carbon filaments enhance durability in high wear zones.
