The Air Jordan 17 Low "Lightning" is the modern re-release of the colorway of the retro basketball shoe that was worn by Michael Jordan at the 2002 NBA All-Star Game. The Jordan 17 was Jordans signature shoe with the Washington Wizards during the 2001-2002 NBA season, and the Jordan 17 Low Lightning was the sneaker The GOAT wore during his first appearance in an All-Star Game as a member of the Wizards. The modern version of the Lightning is a one-to-one remake of the original shoe that debuted in 2002. As for its design, the shoe has a white leather construction with Lightning Yellow accenting on the midsole and on the toe. A black Jordan tag appears on the vamp and a classic Jumpman is seen on the heel. Other details include a Black Dynamic Fit inner sleeve that provides a supportive yet comfortable fit, and a chrome overlay on the heel.
