The Air Jordan 1 Mid Island Green is a tropical inspired look for the popular mid-top edition of Michael Jordans first signature shoe. Taking inspiration from the color block of the Air Jordan 1s Bred Toe colorway, an original and iconic look that was released by Nike in 1985, the Island Green features black leather on the forefoot and lower eyelets and white leather on the perforated toe and mid-panel. Tropical Island Green leather graces the upper eyelets, collar, heel, and Swoosh branding found on both sides. A black Wings logo can be found on the collar and an Island Green accented Jumpman with Air underneath appears on the black nylon tongue tag. A black nylon tongue and laces allow for the aforementioned branding to attract attention. Jordan Brand rounds out the look with a white rubber midsole and black outsole. This colorway is being compared favorably to the rare "Igloo" Air Jordan 1 High. Island GreenDensity tuned foams balance responsiveness and comfort
