Abrasion proof stitching survives grip tape friction
The Krink x Nike Air Force 1 Low is a rare colorway of the classic low-top shoe that was designed by the art supply brand for Nikes 2008 1World project. The formation of 1World saw Nike tap 18 global influencers from various degrees of design for limited edition Air Force 1 colorways. Krink, makers of ink and paint markers used by artists, particularly graffiti writers, contrasts the shoes white leather upper with dripping silver paint meant to mimic the look of wet ink. A Metallic Silver Swoosh appears on both sides and embossed Krink branding replaces Nike Air detailing on the back of the shoe. Dual Krink and Air Force 1 insignias appear on the tongue tag on top of the grey mesh tongue. The grey rubber midsole with Air on the heel is contrasted with a gum outsole. The Krink x Nike Air Force 1 Low is a classic collaboration between graffiti artist KRs art supply company and Nike for the latters 1World initiative. KrinkReinforced toe caps withstand abrasive impacts, prolonging durability.
