Abrasion resistant rubber compounds extend outsole lifespan
The Aim Leon Dore x New Balance 550 Grey Suede is yet another neutral and popular colorway of the retro basketball shoe co-designed by Teddy Santis and his New York based clothing brand. The 550 model was brought back by Aim Leon Dore in 2020 when Santis rediscovered the shoe while combing through New Balances archives for design inspiration. The Grey Suede colorway updates the shoe with grey suede overlays on a white mesh base. A tonal suede N logo can be found on either side of the shoe. Tonal 550 branding appears on the forefoot and dual Aim Leon Dore and New Balance branding is located on the heel of the left and right shoe, respectively.
